Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
1.
Disconnect return hose from power steering pump and allow fluid to drain into a suitable container.
2.
Remove pressure hose from power steering pump fitting.
3.
On models less fixed pump, remove mounting bracket attaching bolts, then disconnect drive belt from pulley and remove pump.
4.
On models with fixed pump, remove drive belt from pulley, then remove pulley and lift pump from engine compartment.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
