ISSUE:
A new design power steering pump outlet quick connect fitting was used on about 6000 vehicles. The pump can be easily identified by its
HBC-JL model code. Figure 1 shows the comparison between the 1990 and prior year designs.
ACTION:
If service is required, refer to the following service procedure when replacing the hose or pump.
