Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair
Air Pump Relief Valve, Replace
NOTE:
The air pump does not have to be disassembled to replace the relief valve; however, it must be removed from the engine.
PROCEDURE
1. Install Tool T66L-9A486-D on air pump and remove relief valve using a suitable slide hammer.
2. To install relief valve, use Tool T66L- 9A4S6-B and lightly hammer the valve until it is seated.
