ISSUE:

A new disc brake pad kit for Ford Crown Victoria police cars is now available. This kit contains original equipment brake lining material.
Other types of disc brake pads may not contain this lining material and could result in premature wear and cracking.

ACTION:

If service is required, install disc brake pad kit, E2AZ-2001-E. Refer to the appropriate model year Car Shop Manual, Section 12-20 for
service details.
