Refer to Exhibit III. Place a new clamp (part number B7A-8287-A) over the end of the heater core inlet hose. Install the variable restrictor (service
part number E5DZ-18D358-A) into the end of the hose. Do not tighten the clamp at this time (see Step 11). NOTE: BE SURE THE ARROW ON
THE VARIABLE RESTRICTOR IS POINTING IN THE DIRECTION OF FLOW (i.e. TOWARDS THE HEATER CORE).

Reinstall the six inch piece of hose and a new clamp (part number B7A-8287-A) onto the other end of the variable restrictor. Tighten this clamp
and the clamp installed in Step 10 to 16-22 inch-pounds (1.8-2.5 N-m).
12.
Reinstall the heater core inlet hose and a new clamp (part number B7A-8287-A) to the heater core. Tighten the clamp to 16-22 inch-pounds
(1.8-2.5 N-m).
