Testing of the power window master switch should be performed with the switch removed from the vehicle. Use a self-powered test lamp or an
ohmmeter.
1. Clip one test lead probe on terminal 3, which is grounded.
2. With all switches in the NEUTRAL position, terminals 4 through 11 should have continuity to terminal 3.
3. Push all four window switches upward (toward window of vehicle when in installed position).
All odd numbered terminals should lose continuity to terminal 3.
