Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Mechanical: Testing and Inspection
Throttle Kicker Vacuum Solenoid Valve
The valve should allow air flow between ports A and B when the solenoid is de-energized, and between ports A and C when the solenoid is energized.
The solenoid resistance should be between 51 and 108 ohms. If the solenoid resistance is not within these values, replace the solenoid.
NOTE: The valve can be expected to have a very small leakage rate when energized or deenergized, this leakage is not measurable in the field and is not
detrimental to valve function.
