This operation should be carried out on a flat surface and in accordance with the instructions for the particular wheel alignment gauges used (Dunlop, Optiflex, Churchill, etc.). - Examine all suspension and steering components to ensure that there are no signs of damage or wear.
- Check and, if necessary, adjust the tyre pressures to specification.
- Ensure the vehicle is at kerb weight and that the spare wheel, jack and vehicle tools are stowed in their designated positions. Additional tools or goods should be removed from the vehicle.
- Bounce the vehicle to ensure that the suspension is in its natural position.

Slacken both track rod end locknuts. - Slacken the track rod end locknuts.
- Remove the gaiter outer retaining clips.

Rotate each tie rod end equally clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust the toe setting. | | -
