Removal and Installation Removal All Vehicles Right-hand drive vehicles | -
NOTE:Vehicles with air conditioning. Move the air conditioning hose support bracket to one side. | All Vehicles | -
Disconnect the hydraulic control unit electrical connectors. | | -
CAUTION:Make a note of the position of the brake tubes to aid installation. Detach the hydraulic control unit brake tubes. - Detach the brake tube union.
- Detach the brake tubes from the pressure conscious reducing valves.
- Detach the brake tubes from the hydraulic control unit.

Detach the hydraulic control unit from the bracket. - Loosen the left-hand side nuts.
- Loosen the right-hand side nut.
- Lift out the hydraulic control unit.

Remove the pressure conscious reducing valves. | Installation All Vehicles | -
CAUTION:Make sure the brake tube from the hydraulic control unit to the master cylinder is not touching the engine mounting bracket. If damage is observed a new brake tube must be fitted. To install, the ring and stud cap. | | -
Install the left-hand bracket studs into the insulators. | | -
Install the pressure conscious reducing valves. | | -
Install hydraulic control unit. | | -
Install the hydraulic control unit brake tubes. | | -
Connect the hydraulic control unit electrical connectors. | Right-hand drive vehicles | -
NOTE:Vehicles with air conditioning. Install the air conditioning hose support bracket. | All Vehicles |
