Removal and Installation

Removal

CAUTION:
CAUTION:When power to the navigation system control until is disconnected, the unit will require re-programming. Refer to GPS (Global Positioning System) locate and Language Load in the PDI service literature.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The Radio removal tool for the Navigation audio control unit was sent to all dealers at model launch.
    Detach the audio control unit.
    1. Insert the left and right-hand removal tool into the locating slots until they click into place.
    1. Move the tools gently to the left and right of the unit to release the locking tangs.
    1. Pull the audio unit gently out of crash pad/facia.

  1. Remove the audio control unit.
    • Disconnect the three multiplugs.
    • Disconnect the antenna cable.

Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:When power to the navigation system control until is disconnected, the unit will require re-programming. Refer to GPS (Global Positioning System) locate and Language Load in the PDI service literature.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
