Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the lower footwell trim (5 clips).

  1. Detach the opening damper from the glove compartment.
    1. Open the glove compartment to gain access to the opening damper.
    1. Push the upper part of the opening damper away from the glove compartment.

  1. Remove the glove compartment.
    1. Press the sides towards the center to release the glove compartment.
    1. Pull the glove compartment out of the hinges.
Vehicles built from 11/2003 with automatic temperature control (EATC)
  1. Detach the blower motor control module connector.
All vehicles
  1. Detach the blower motor connector.

  1. Remove the blower motor.

Installation

  1. Install the components in the reverse order.
