Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.
  1. Remove the passenger seat assembly. For additional information, refer to Section  501-10 Seating.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Lay the seat onto its back to allow access to the CD autochanger.
    Remove the retaining screws from either side and detach the CD autochanger from its mounting bracket.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the CD autochanger.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Initialize the door window motors. For additional information, refer to Section  501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms.
