Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the front door trim panel.
    For additional information, refer to: Front Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

  1. Disconnect the mirror electrical connector.

  1. Remove the mirror glass.
    1. Detach the clips.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. Remove the exterior mirror cover.
    1. Detach the clips.
    1. Remove the cover.

  1. Remove the mirror retaining screws.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Take extra care not to damage the seal.
    Remove the mirror.

Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the cable cannot be damaged or cause a noise, vibration or harshness (NVH) concern.
    CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the seal remains correctly located.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
