Removal and Installation

General Equipment

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Refer to: Battery (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 12 Nm

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the brake pedal remains in the rest position.
  1. Refer to: Instrument Cluster (413-01 Instrument Cluster, Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 24 Nm

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the brake pedal remains in the rest position.
    CAUTION:
    CAUTION:The brake pedal actuating rod pin will be damaged during removal.
    Torque: 24 Nm

Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the brake booster pushrod is correctly located.
    CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the brake pedal remains in the rest position.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. After installing the stop lamp switch, check the synchronization of the stop lamp switch and the brake pedal position (BPP) switch.
