Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Disconnect the battery.
    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler.
      Refer to: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Cooler (303-08F Engine Emission Control - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Turbocharger
      Refer to: Turbocharger (303-04J Fuel Charging and Controls - Turbocharger - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Install new nuts and a new gasket.
    Torque: 30 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
