Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01B Engine - 2.0L Duratec-HE (MI4), Removal and Installation).
    Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01C Engine - 2.3L Duratec-HE (MI4), Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 2 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The O-ring seal is to be reused unless damaged.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The gaskets are to be reused unless damaged.

  1. Discard the swirl plates actuating rod bearings.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that new components are installed.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
