Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Carry out the air conditioning (A/C) system recovery procedure.
    Refer to: Klimaanlage entleeren, evakuieren und befüllen (412-00, General Procedures).
  1. Remove the RH headlamp assembly.
    Refer to: Scheinwerfer (417-01, Removal and Installation).

  1.  
    1. Torque: 5 Nm
    1. Torque: 24 Nm

  1. Raise and suppoprt the vehicle.
    Refer to: Anheben mit Hebebühne (100-02, Description and Operation).

Vehicles with intercooler
  1. Remove the intercooler.
    Refer to: Ladeluftkühler (303-12, Removal and Installation).

All vehicles

Installation

  1. Coat the O-rings on the refrigerant lines.
    Material: Refrigerant Oil
  1. Install all components in reverse order.
