Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the passive anti-theft system (PATS) transceiver.
    Refer to: Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Transceiver (419-01B, Removal and Installation).

    1. Turn the ignition key to position I.
    1. Using a suitable punch, release the locking tang.

Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the ignition switch and the ignition lock cylinder are aligned before installation.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
