Clean all previously removed components - main jets, main well tube, etc.. After cleaning reinstall components in the reverse order of removal
(Step 6-11) taking care to maintain proper location. Refer to Figure 3, View A for torque specifications.

Install the air horn using a new air horn gasket (9561). NOTE: Do not connect the bowl vent line at this time. Install fuel line and vacuum lines
disconnected in Step 2.

Disconnect the bowl vent line at the rubber to metal line at the right hand frame rail (Figure 3, View B). Blow out the line from the carburetor end.
To prevent reoccurence of the contamination, the following modification must be employed.

Cut the bowl vent line, at mid length, between the carburetor and the steel line. Install a D8TZ-9E589- B thermal vent valve. (NOTE: Sufficient
