Peel the weatherstrip tab ends away from the glass and pull the weatherstrip out of the retainer.

Install the hatch on the vehicle.
Press downward on the hatch until the drip rail trim moulding on the body and on the hatch are aligned.
Using a grease pencil, mark the location of the hatch weatherstrip butt joint.
Repeat this step at the opposite end.
7.
Remove the hatch from the vehicle and place on the cloth covered work bench.
Install the hatch weatherstrip.
The narrow weatherstrip tab has to be positioned at the rear of the hatch (installed position).

Insert the weatherstrip sealing lip into the retainer channel and push the lower edge of the seal into the retainer.
