Remove the striker plate cover or "A" cap located at the top of the "A" pillar.

Pull the weatherstrip out of the "A" pillar retainer to the joint between the door upper and lower weatherstrips.
If the weatherstrip joint is located at a new location, refer to the door lower weatherstrip replacement procedure.

Be sure to remove the old push pins in the "A" pillar and seal the holes with Silicone Rubber Adhesive/Sealant (D6AZ-19562-B).
