Position the striker plate covers at the "A" and "B" pillars and install the attaching screws.

Install the hatch and check the butt joint gap between the hatch and door weatherstrips.
Slight gaps can be closed by loosening the hatch weatherstrip attaching screws and pulling it toward the body weatherstrip butt joint.
NOTE:
Do not push butt joints too tight and cause the weatherstrip to buckle or distort at the butt joint.
