Remove the hatch. At each end of the latch assembly, loosen the guide plate attaching screws.
To move the hatch downward into the alignment, move the guide plate toward the hatch glass. For upward alignment, move the guide plate
away from the glass.
16.
Reinstall the hatch and confirm the fit, readjust if necessary.
17.
Install the hatch garnish moulding.

With the glass in the full up position, use a grease pencil and mark a line on the outside of the door glass the full length of the belt line moulding.
This mark will serve as a reference point during the adjustment procedures.
Remove the door trim panel and water shield.
If necessary, refer to Section 47-04 in the appropriate Car Shop Manual.
