Remove the weatherstrip retainer attaching rivet using a 1/8 inch drill.

Disengage the weatherstrip from the mirror tab and remove the retainer. Discard the weatherstrip retainer.

Apply a small amount of silicone lube (COAZ- 19553-A) to the lower 3 inches of the weatherstrip and feed it into the guide channel.
