Figure 2 - Moulding and Extension Panel

Vehicles exhibiting paint damage on rocker panel mouldings and quarter panel extension (spats) resulting from stone pecking may be serviced by
replacing the moulding and extension. The new improved design parts incorporate a material change that will increase durability and have a better luster
to the finish of the mouldings. When replacing a rocker panel moulding or extension, replace the moulding and extension panel as a set. See Figure 2.
1.

Remove rocker panel moulding and quarter panel extension (spats).

2.

Replace necessary retainers.

3.

Install new rocker panel moulding (floor side member) and quarter panel extension (spats) and all retaining attachments.
