Applies only to units without R.H. mirror.
Perform Step #1 first, then remove outside sail cover and build up existing gasket by adding 1/4"x3/4" strips of foam tape as shown in Figure 5.

Remove interior sail cover plate and check for bent locating tab. Straighten tab if bent to allow proper seating of the cover plate to door panel
(Figure 6).

The forward flange of the sail cover on early built units was approximately 1/4" wide and interfered with the door primary weatherstrip. If the
forward flange measures more than 1/8" wide, the excess material should be trimmed off using a sharp knife (Figure 6).
