CALIBRATIONS: All with CFI

Hesitation during cold and/or stabilized drive may be caused by ignition timing out of specification or by curb idle speed out of limits.

1.

Check/adjust ignition timing.

2.

Check for curb idle speed out of limits due to the following: sticking, binding, grabbing throttle linkage, cruise control mis-adjusted, or throttle
stop adjusting screw out of adjustment.

Refer to TSB 84-3, page 51, for adjustment procedure.
