Shut off key.

Remove the jumper wire.

Remove the rubber dust cover from the ISC motor tip. Push the tip back toward the motor to remove any lash. Attempt to pass a 9/32 inch (.281
inch) drill bit between the ISC motor tip (which is the idle tracking switch) and the throttle lever. It must pass through while making only light
contact with both surfaces. If it does not, loosen the ISC bracket lock screw and turn the ISC bracket adjusting screw until proper cleanance is
attained. NOTE: Be sure not to push back the idle tracking switch with the drill bit.
8.
Re-tighten the lock screw and replace the rubber dust cover.
9.
Reinstall air cleaner.
