Some vehicles with Quadra-shock rear suspension may exhibit rear wheel bearing noise during various driving modes. This noise may be one or more of
the following:
1.
One tone that reacts to throttle movement similar to ring gear and pinion noise and can be heard even in neutral coast.

Replace the axle shaft.
2.
Random low frequency (rumble or gravel) noise over a wide speed range.

Replace the wheel bearing and seal.
If both noises are present, replacement of the axle shaft, wheel bearing and seal may be necessary.
