Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair
Front Washer Pump and Seal Assembly
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect electrical connector and windshield washer reservoir cover from windshield washer reservoir. Remove windshield washer reservoir
from vehicle.
2. Remove cap from windshield washer reservoir, flush reservoir and replace cap.
3. Remove the windshield washer pump from windshield washer reservoir.
INSTALLATION
1. Fill windshield washer reservoir.
WARNING: WINDSHIELD WASHER SOLUTION CONTAINS METHANOL, WHICH IS POISONOUS. OBSERVE ALL
CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS INDICATED ON LABEL OF WASHER SOLUTION CONTAINER.
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
3. Check operation of windshield washer pump and check for leaks.
CAUTION: Do not operate windshield washer pump until fluid is added to windshield washer reservoir.
