Remove the sponge and excess filler which may have expanded through holes as shown in Figure 4.

11.

Reinstall the pop up spring and auxiliary hood catch.

12.

Reinstall the hood on the car.

13.

Function the hood and latch to assure the filler material is not interfering with the latch operation.
