LAMP - TAIL LAMP LENS - SERVICE REPLACEMENT
FORD 1979-82 MUSTANG, 1980-82 THUNDERBIRD
LINCOLN-MERCURY 1979-82 CAPRI
The Mustang/Capri and Thunderbird rear lamp assembly lenses are attached to the lamp bodies with a butyl seal and in some cases retaining clips. They
now can be serviced individually without replacement of the complete rear lamp assembly.
In the event of a rear lamp lens separation, a new butyl seal must be installed and each lens must also be retained to the lamp body with new, improved
retaining clips, Part No. 389611-S100, using the following procedure.
