Remove some of the existing butyl seal from the lamp body along the top by scraping with a small screwdriver.

NOTE:

It will not be necessary to remove all the remaining butyl seal from the lamp body on the Capri. Refer to Figure 11 for details.
Service the existing butyl seal on the lamp body down the sides and across the bottom.

Installation

1.

Apply a strip of butyl seal along the top of the lamp body.

NOTE:

Special care should be taken to avoid bunching or tearing the seal when applying around the corner.
