Raise the seat back cover half way up the seat back as shown in Figure 1. Refer to the appropriate Car Shop Manual, Section 41-30.

Remove the upper latch cover from the seat back frame and save the attaching screws.
7.
Remove the inertia latch and save the attaching screws.
8.
Attach the new toggle spring latch to the seat back frame and tighten screws to 19-27 N-m (14-19 ft.lbs.).
9.
Attach the appropriate new upper latch cover to the seat back frame.
10.
Pull the cover down and hog ring cover to the seat back frame. Refer to Section 41-30 of the appropriate Car Shop Manual.
