Wheels on spare tires should also be checked and replaced as required.

Existing dealer inventory should also be inspected for suspect wheels. Wheels having the spider manufacturing code as shown in Step 2 above should be
returned and replaced with certified service stock.

All wheels replaced under warranty should be charged to Program Code L16. This charge includes the inspection, dismounting, remounting, balancing of
new wheel and existing tire and replacement of hubcap. All wheels from vehicles should be mutilated by cuffing the rim and then scrapped.

As an option, the police or taxi fleet may elect to install full wheel covers instead of replacing the wheels and hub-caps. All wheel covers installed
under warranty should be charged to Program Code L16.
