NOTE:
If equipped, do not remove the electronic circuit breaker module installed as part of Safety Recall 01S30, or the jumper harness installed as part of
Safety Recall 97S66 or 95S22. See Figure 3.
1.
Check OASIS to see if Safety Recall 01S30 is open for the vehicle.

If Safety Recall 01S30 is open, perform that Recall instead of this repair.

If Safety Recall 01S30 is not open, continue with this repair.
2.
Record preset radio stations, then disconnect the battery negative cable.
3.
If equipped, remove the radiator upper sight shield from the vehicle.
