ISSUE:

Inoperative tail lamps, parking lamps, side marker lamps, license lamp, and instrument panel cluster lights may occur when the headlamp
switch is turned on. In some cases, the current can be routed momentarily to the tail lamp circuit. A blown #4 fuse may occur after repeated
slow movement (on/off) of the switch from parking lamp position to headlamp position.

ACTION:

To correct this, install a new headlamp switch with improved contacts. Refer to the 1987 Car Shop Manual, Volume B, Section 32-02-6.
