Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Toothed Ring
Rear
CAUTION:

Do not allow axle shaft flange to contact press bed during rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator toothed wheel removal.

Once a rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator toothed wheel has been removed, it must be replaced with a new part.
1. Remove axle shaft from vehicle.
2. Place axle shaft in press, and remove sensor indicator using bearing pulling attachment tool No. D79L-4621-A, or equivalent.
3. Position sensing ring installer tool No. T89P-20202-A, or equivalent, on press with pilot ring up.
4. Place new sensor indicator on sensor ring installer tool. Ensure sensor indicator is positioned as shown.
