Mustang V8-4.6L DOHC VIN R (2003)
5. Remove the bolts and the gearshift lever.
6. Remove the gearshift lever boot.
7. CAUTION: Cover the opening in the extension housing to prevent contamination.
Clean the gearshift lever mounting surfaces.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Apply a 3.2 mm (1/8 inch) bead of silicone rubber to the sealing, surface on the gearshift lever.
