Mustang V8-4.6L SC VIN Y (2004)
5. Remove and discard the RH exhaust manifold flange nuts.
6. Remove and discard the LH exhaust manifold flange nuts.
7. NOTE: Make sure not to damage the manifold outlet flare, the converter inlet flare or the studs.
Remove the catalytic converter assembly.
Installation
NOTE: Clean the mating surfaces of the manifold outlet flare and the catalytic converter inlet flare, and at the catalytic converter outlet flare and the
muffler inlet pipe.
