Mustang Cobra V8-281 4.6L DOHC VIN V MFI (1997)
4. Apply Silicone Gasket and Sealant F6AZ-19562-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M4G323-A6 to end of keyway in crankshaft
pulley as shown.
5. Install crankshaft pulley retaining bolt and washer. No more than four minutes after applying sealer, tighten in four steps:
a. Tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).
b. Loosen one full turn 360°.
c. Tighten to 50 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).
d. Tighten an additional 90°.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Install accessory drive belt.
8. Connect battery ground cable.
9. Start engine and check for leaks.
