Flywheel: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Remove transmission.
2. Remove the clutch pressure plate (7563) and clutch disc (7550).
3. Remove eight bolts retaining flywheel (6375) to crankshaft (6303) and remove flywheel.
INSTALLATION
1. Position flywheel on crankshaft and install six retaining bolts. Tighten in alternating sequence to 73-87 Nm (54-64 ft. lbs.).
2. Check flywheel runout, if necessary.
3. If equipped, install clutch pressure plate and clutch disc.
4. Install transmission.
