Select high beam by pushing the turn signal lever away from the driver to the stop.
^
Release the lever to maintain high beams.
^
Select low beam by pulling the turn signal lever toward the driver from the high beam position.
^
Release the lever to maintain low beams.
^
To operate the flash-to-pass feature, pull the lever gently toward the driver.
^
When the lever is released, it will return to the low beam position.
^
If driving without headlamps on, use of the flash-to-pass feature will turn on the high beams until the turn signal lever is released.
^
If the headlamps are turned on, the low and high beams will be on until the lever is released.
TURN SIGNAL SWITCH
The turn signal switch is incorporated into the multi-function switch. The turn signal lever is located on the LH side of the upper steering column
tube assembly.

To operate the turn signal(s), the ignition switch must be in the RUN position.
^
To indicate a normal full turn, move the turn signal lever to the end-of-travel position for the turn desired.
^
The lever will remain in position without effort until the turn is completed, at which time the turn indicator cancel cam will automatically
cancel the turn signal. The turn signal system also has a lane change feature. Operate the lane change feature as follows:

Move and hold the turn signal lever to the first stop position when changing lanes.
^
When the lane maneuver is completed, release the lever and it will return to its normal position.
HAZARD FLASHER SWITCH
The hazard flasher system is operated independently of the key lock cylinder. All turn signal lamps can be made to flash in unison by pushing in
the actuating knob of the hazard flasher switch (part of multi-function switch located on the steering column assembly).
FLASHER, INDICATOR
Two indicator flasher units are used.

One indicator flasher is used in the turn signal circuit.

The other indicator flasher is used for the hazard flasher
