Radio Removal Tool
SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the digital audio compact disc player.

Insert the special tool.

Using the special tool, remove the digital audio compact disc player.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.
CAUTION: To avoid damaging the digital audio compact disc player, do not use excessive force when installing the radio removal tool.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive
strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
