Mustang Cobra V8-4.6L DOHC VIN V (2000)
3.8L, 4.6L (2V )-Install the clutch pressure plate.

Using the special tool, align the clutch pressure plate and install it on the dowels.

Install the bolts in the sequence shown.
^
Remove the special tool.
3. 4.6L (4V)-Tighten the bolts in two steps in the sequence shown.
^
Step one: tighten to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
^
Step two: tighten an additional 60 degrees.
4. Install the transmission.
