7. If additional force is required to remove front disc brake rotor , apply Rust Penetrant and Inhibitor F2AZ-19A501-A or equivalent meeting Ford

specification ESR-M99C56-A on front disc brake rotor/wheel hub mating surfaces. First, strike front disc brake rotor between studs with a plastic
hammer. If this does not work, attach 2-3-Jaw Puller 205-DO27 or equivalent and remove front disc brake rotor.

INSTALLATION 

1. If front disc brake rotor is being replaced, remove the protective coating from the new front disc brake rotor with Metal Brake Parts Cleaner

F5AZ-2C41O-AA or equivalent.

2. Install the front disc brake rotor assembly on the wheel hub.
3. Install the front disc brake caliper/front disc brake caliper anchor plate assembly on the front wheel spindle. Install two caliper anchor plate bolts

and tighten to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.).

4. Install wheel and tire assembly using Rotunda Accutorq Lug Nut Sockets 164-RO303 or equivalent on 1/2 inch drive air impact wrench. A torque

wrench may be used. Tighten lug nuts to 115-142 Nm (85-104 ft. lbs.).

CAUTION:  Failure to tighten lug nuts in a star pattern may result in high rotor runout, which will speed up the development of brake roughness,
shudder and vibration.

5. Lower vehicle.
6. Pump brake pedal prior to moving vehicle to position brake linings.
7. Road test vehicle.

Rear

REMOVAL 

1. Remove retaining clip and parking brake rearcable and conduit.
2. Remove two bolts that retain rear disc support bracket to rear disc brake adapter.

NOTE:  Support rear disc brake caliper and rear disc support bracket assembly so that rear wheel brake hose is not stretched or twisted.

3. Remove the two nuts retaining rear disc brake rotor to the axle shaft. Remove the rear disc brake rotor.

INSTALLATION 

1. If rear disc brake rotor is being replaced, remove protective coating from new rear disc brake rotor with Metal Brake Parts Cleaner

(Non-Chlorinated) F5AZ-2C41O-AA or equivalent.

2. Install the rear disc brake rotors on the axle shaft flange. Install the two retaining nuts securely.
3. Clean the rear disc brake adapter and retaining bolt threads. Add one drop of Threadlock and Sealer EOAZ-19554-AA or equivalent meeting Ford

specification WSK-M2G315-A5 to each bolt. Install the rear disc support bracket assembly to the rear disc brake adapter. Tighten the bolts to 
87-119 Nm (65-87 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the rear disc brake caliper assembly to the rear disc support brackets.
