Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Service and Repair
The brake pressure control valve assembly is serviced as an assembly only.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect all brake tubes from the brake pressure control valve assembly.
2. Remove nut that retains the brake pressure control valve on the frame. Remove the brake pressure control valve from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the brake pressure control valve as an assembly on the frame. Install nut. Tighten to 11-16 Nm (98-141 inch lbs.).
2. Connect all brake tubes to the brake pressure control valve assembly. Tighten the tube nut to 14-24 Nm (10-17 ft. lbs.).
3. Bleed the brake system.
