Blower Motor: Service and Repair
Blower Motor
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the jumper wire harness from the main harness electrical connector.
2. Disconnect jumper wire harness from heater blower motor switch resistor.
3. Remove three blower motor retaining screws.
4. Pull the blower motor out of the A/C evaporator housing.
5. Remove heater blower motor cover and stiffener plate.
6. Disconnect jumper wire harness from blower motor.
INSTALLATION
1. Install gasket material and jumper wire harness onto the blower motor.
2. Position the blower motor in the heater blower motor cover.
3. Position blower motor as assembly into the A/C evaporator housing.
4. Install three retaining screws.
5. Install the jumper wire harness to heater blower motor switch resistor.
6. Connect jumper wire harness to main harness electrical connector.
