Mustang GT V8-4.6L SOHC VIN X (1998)
5. Remove two Torx(R) T-15 screws retaining bottom of instrument panel finish panel to instrument panel and one Torx(R) T-15 screw retaining rear
of instrument panel finish panel to instrument panel.
6. Pull instrument panel finish panel to release two clips left and right of A/C control and two clips on top of instrument panel finish panel.
7. Remove one screw retaining heater air plenum chamber to instrument panel reinforcement.
8. Remove one screw retaining heater air plenum chamber to windshield defroster hose nozzle.
9. Remove two screws retaining heater air plenum chamber to instrument panel. Remove heater air plenum chamber from instrument panel.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten instrument panel finish panel retaining screws to 0.4 N.m (3.5 Lb-In).
