Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation
The luggage compartment lamp system consists of:

Is integral to the hi-mount stoplamp.

Luggage compartment lamp switch.

Luggage compartment lamp and miniature bulb.

Luggage compartment lamp wiring and circuit protection.
The luggage compartment lamp switch:

Is provided power through Circuit 54 (LG/Y).

Is closed by opening the luggage compartment door.
-
Provides power to illuminate the luggage compartment lamp.
-
Is grounded through Circuit 55 (BK/PK).
